  2. I think I would have sanded and stained before putting the polyurethane on. I think it would have brought out more of the beauty and gave it some similarity.

  4. Yes. Moved into old house and floors are unlevel. Carpets are bad but with floors the water they are don’t want to carpet. Think will try like this.

  5. Why not use the entire length of board?
    I used skids to build my son a platform storage bed. Sanded the edges I didn’t fill in the nail holes and it’s awesome. That floor though? Not my taste but it’s not my house.
