Artist Creates Tree Houses That Turn Plants Into Tiny Getaways

It’s pretty safe to say that given the opportunity, pretty much everyone would have a tree house.

Imagine: a quirky, secret space just for you (and maybe your friends) that’s perfectly customized to your needs. Does it have a skylight for stargazing? A pulley system to hoist in some snacks? A whole lot of bean bags?

But if you’re like most of us, you probably don’t have the means to make a tree house, or the time and space, or the skill. Andwe can’t all have our dream tree house built for us on live TV. So what can you do?

Well, you can vicariously enjoy the tree house experience thanks to artist Jedidiah Corwyn Voltz, who constructs miniature tree houses that perch on and around everyday house plants!

Okay, so you can’t climb in and hang out in Voltz’s miniature creations, but you certainly can enjoy them.

They range from traditional tree houses to tiny fortresses with lookout towers and windmills, and each comes with a set of teeny-weeny living accessories for a personal touch.

Even just looking at them gives you a little thrilling feeling of going on an adventure to a magical, uncharted land.
